The Summer Group Show at Madelyn Jordon Fine Art includes a diverse group of thirteen artists. It is entitled: “Hazy, Hot And A Thundershower”, running from Wed, July 11, 2007 to Fri, August 31, 2007. An opening reception for the artists will be held on Wed, July 11, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. Previews and private showings are by appointment only. (Jordon is exhibiting Wosene Worke Kosrof from May, 2007 to June 30, 2007.)

The present collection is composed of paintings that radically vary in theme, styles and medium while all relating to the warmth, balminess and lushness of summer. There are beachscapes and landscapes, whimsical photographs, marine art, florals, still life, and more. As the title, “Hazy, Hot and a Thundershower” reflects the gamut of summer weather the artwork in turn reflects a wide range of summer imagery, color and imagination. The artists, include both masters and those emerging.
