More about

Rachel M. Mac

Growing up on the North Shore of Long Island, New York, Rachel M. Mac, the daughter of an architect, was immersed in an environment filled with blueprints and sketches. Her early years were marked by a natural affinity for designing and sketching cityscapes using pencil and ink. In addition to her visual arts pursuits, Rachel delved into the world of performing arts, initiating her cello studies at the age of 8.

As she seamlessly blended her artistic and orchestral interests, Rachel's creative inspiration evolved, leading her to produce paintings that seamlessly merge the structural elements and compositions inherent in both architectural and orchestral works. Her artworks reflect a synthesis of space, gestural brush strokes, geometric color blocking, and motion achieved through aleatoric techniques.

Currently residing and working in Long Island, NY, Rachel continues to draw from her diverse artistic background to inform and enrich her creative endeavors.
